Call me monster

Holla! I totally wanna brag bout the capacity of my stomach, and as of now, I'm suffering from the consequences -- frigging chubby cheeks. Skipping a meal is not only not an option, it's forbidden. Don't know if that applies to you when you're around your parents, but, that happened to me.

Within 48 hours (last weekend), the amount of food I consumed was actually equivalent to those that I usually had for at least 3 days. Not exaggerating. Not kidding.

Express chinese food newly opened @Bukit Bintang. Couldn't remember the name.
I almost humiliated myself for wanting to be seated first -_-
Who would have thought it's a McD wannabe! Okay maybe just me.

RM 14.80.
Overpriced for such dish, not yummeh as well.

Stupid bro's work.

Tau fu fa is quite nice though o_O

Also, I kicked start the buffet session with this...

....all the way to this..

..this..

...and this..

...and this..

..and this..

..AND FINISHED UP THIS AS WELL in 3 hours.all.by.myself. I even gave up taking some other portions of mine 'cause I was too bloated that I rather not move any part of my body LOL
*proud*
I'm now officially removing the skinny tag off myself.

#outoftopic
Back from work looking tireddddd.

See you!

Chapter 21

Finally can afford to spend time in front of lappy without having to watch out for the time before it strikes 12am -- cause that means I have no other choice but to sleep.

I never realized time can seriously pass so fast, not even when I was in uni. When it comes to work, it flies at such a scary speed. I can't get over the fact that it has already been a week since my internship started  o_O

People tend to ask me what's my plan after this after that after xxxxx. Honestly, I don't know. Which is why I'm actually exploring, all I know is that I'd wanna work for a year or two before proceeding to masters. And which field exactly? No idea too -_- Not at the moment.

As for now, I'm glad that I kinda enjoy myself at the workplace, an organizational setting. I wouldn't say it's very much related to Psychology OR for me to practice what I've learned in uni but more like a real-life training/exposure OR it is to teach me how the world really functions, which you can't learn in uni AT ALL. Socializing with friends is nothing like that.

I intended to go into Employee Relations, for I think it really has more to do with human-related issues/counselling etc. Sadly they did not need interns, so I happened to go into Recruitment, my second choice amongst the rest which were offered by the organization.

I'm still in the phase of learning and catching up, well, actually I think it's all about learning throughout internship -__- BUTTTT, I realized how one significant life event for the others can turn out to be just-another-routine for us.

Example: Applicants got rejected and it may be like their end of the world; And us, it's all about calling up and sending a rejection email. That's all. Not forget that you're not supposed to sound sympathetic by any chance.
I think I have to get used to that cause I do feel a lil sad inside when I have to do that *.*

I also like to actually talk to candidates casually when checking up their questionnaire, especially when it's obvious that they're so uptight right before their interviews. I feel real great when they apparently loosen up a little after I open my mouth (to initiate convo :/ ) And they do the job to keep the conversation going instead!

Just so if you (psychs) remember, during the internship briefing, we, the interns to be, were told that when the rule says working hours 9am - 6pm, it actually means 8.30am - 6.30pm. In fact, I'm doing that now, not for the sake of impressing anyone or being pretentious, but I'm waking up every morning feeling excited to go to work, and not feeling extra hyped up when the clock says 6pm.

Oh gosh, I think this is getting too long. I wanna enjoy my weekend like mad now. And kid me not, knowing that it may seem shallow to some, it's my very first time working formally ok so let me jakun a bit. Everyone has their first. Don't laugh at mine, cause I'll be laughing at yours >:(

I hope this doesn't scare you off  *shifty eyes

I guess I should consider myself lucky for having problem deciding my preference between uni and working life as I love both equally much <3

Bonding

The day has finally come, where I'm looking forward to shopping for working attire and getting all prepared for internship! My sis and I picked Mid Valley & Gardens :)

I need to kinda fill my closet with more formal clothing from now on, don't wanna feel demotivated to go to work :p

Sis got very hyped up 'cause she thought M&S is only available in Gardens -__-
Until I told her there's one in Pyramid and she went "YA MEHHHHH" lol.

Da bomb!
I wouldnt mind having this everyday seriously, what more a Caramel lover like me!

And I happily munched on this while shopping!

The shopping wasn't very productive actually, so we had another round at Pyramid the next day pfft.

She recommended Purple Cane Tea for dinner and I got so curious how does tea blend with.....dishes.

Extracted from web:
In response to a growing appeal in natural health diet, Purple Cane created a new food concept as tea cuisine and found the Malaysia’s first tea restaurant in 1997.
The value of tea goes beyond that of a beverage. Chefs have been inspired by tea to create dishes with a difference. Pairing tea with food, Purple Cane Tea Restaurant advocates a modern concept of light but flavourful dishes with less salt, oil, sugar and no artificial flavours. The dishes retain the original aroma of tea. This begins a trend of the delightful and healthy tea cuisine.
Over 50 appetising selections prepared with different types of tea including tea beverages, soups, vegetables, seafood, meat (pork free), noodles and rice as well.

菜蒲煎蛋

茄子!
This one in  particular that really really retained the aroma of tea, and I loved it!
Never thought they could go along so well hahaha.

Chicken boxing! (dont know how to name it in Chinese)
鸡拳击? HAHAHA wtf ok kidding.
All of them are tasty and reasonably priced, I would totally love to visit again!
Not to forget even the white rice has the aroma of tea that gives a slight sweet touch. Oh noms.

The satisfied faces after healthy diet :)

Bye bye!

Melacca for the Gluttony

It was supposedly a PD + Melacca one day trip, 'cause we wanted to catch the sunrise by the beach, but who am I kidding. Sunrise? That would be at least a 6.30am, what more a late night sleep beforehand. So, obviously failed :(

The only reason I wanted to spend my Sunday in Melacca was because so I could eat like nobody's business, and I did! :D Got so satisfied that I skipped my dinner after that.

I havent gotten over the Nasi Lemak @ the Coconut milkshake place in Klebang!
No fancy chicken thigh or nuts, but it tastes so heavenly niceeeee

Not forgetting the signature Coconut Milkshake!
3 Nasi Lemak & 2 Milkshake for only RM7.50, where to find in kl LOL

Wanted to go to Jonker Street to makan more but somehow got lost or took the wrong way...

..so I took my sweet time camwhoring with Alex Phang's shades teehee

Taming Sari.
Never had a chance to go up there o_O

I know this looks shitty but a Durian lover like me wouldnt mind so :p

And this was my first time trying Satay Celup.
We picked Capitol Satay 'cause it's said to be one of the best ones?
It opens at 5pm but I took this pic at 4.45pm -__-
Already full house before its operating hours sighhh too many gluttony out there.

Queued under the hot sun for freaking half an hour *stomps feet*

This better be nice!

RM 0.80 per stick :D

And it didn't disappoint me *burps*

Like the title says, Gluttony, I wasn't satisfied back then.

More food!

Prawn & Crab Takoyaki <3

Otak-otak!

Spent my last Saturday mall-hopping from Pavilion to Fahrenheit to Low Yat and no way we could stop eating and drinking. It was a very productive Saturday! That, actually feels like a real holiday :S

Thank god the Department/lab/observation rooms or whatsoever close on weekends, hence, the chance for a sweet escape from thesis experiment :D

Damn the cheek pouches.

Alford the Forest & Ryan the (fill in the blanks)

Didn't join them for KFC 'cause this was what I wanted badly that night!
Pig Giblet's Congee @Crystal Jade.

Our all-time favourite :)

Alex Phang!

Ji Muis

And I must say Cream & Fudge Factory is a must-go place if you ever drop by Fahrenheit.
Also available in Alamanda & KLCC.

See, the menu itself looking delicious alreadyyyy.

We went up and snapped a pic of the process like some jakuns lol

And here it is! Banana something chocolate something o_O

Caramel something *.*
Macadamia is the bomb!

Soon after, headed over to The Castle where we realized the July promotion...
